Pay equity continues to plague working women. Additional challenges in this category includes the need for women to often come and go from the workforce as they manage their families. Pay equity has a compounded affect on retirement as social security payments are based off of a period of women’s earnings.
The USWCC is working to bring a greater pay equity for working women.
